Welcome to DKTDesigns Fine Beaded Jewelry! Do you love to wear jewelry no matter what the day's adventures bring?  You've come to the right place for handcrafted, one-of-a-kind beaded and wire-wrapped jewelry for your active and outdoor-loving lifestyle.  I'm Diane Thornton and I have been designing and making jewelry in Durango, Colorado, since 2004. My goal is to delight my customers with beautiful, wearable and well-made jewelry that evokes a connection to nature.

 

I've loved jewelry and accessorizing from an early age, and over the years my style has evolved to fit my active way of life.  I’m just as likely to be wearing a necklace and earrings under my bike helmet as with my LBD!  In 2005, I launched DKTDesigns Fine Beaded Jewelry because I wanted jewelry I could wear out on the trails as well as out on the town!

As a former professional mountain bike racer, I love to get outside on the trails near my home in Durango, Colorado.  It’s my version of a moving meditation.  Not only do I find inspiration here, these trails are also where I discover stones to wire wrap into pendants for my Durango Trails and Selkirk collections.

      

It’s all about your personal style and DKTDesigns jewelry will help you express that style no matter where today’s adventure takes you.  I strive to make every piece not only beautiful, but also sturdy enough to withstand life’s hard knocks.

 

Every piece (except for the stretch triple wrap bracelets) comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.  I make each piece myself and I strive for the highest quality.  If you are not satisfied with your DKTDesigns jewelry, you may return it for exchange, repair or a full refund of the purchase price.  This includes defects in manufacturing only, NOT normal wear and tear.  I hope that each piece will last a lifetime and beyond, but sometimes they get caught on something, or tugged on too strongly, in which case I will gladly make repairs for an additional charge.  I'm happy to make adjustments in length for no extra charge prior to shipping your item.
