Durango Trails stone pendant necklace with turquoise and amber

I found this stone while mountain biking on Cowboy Trail, or should I say, it found me! The stone really stood out against the gray dirt of the trail, so I had to pick it up. After over 4 weeks of tumbling, the stone had a smooth satin sheen and was ready for wire-wrapping. I used sterling silver wire to fashion the pendant and strung it with turquoise and Baltic amber to highlight the rich brown color. This is a lovely way to wear a little bit of Durango around your neck!
